Ratchada Rot Fai Night Market, Bangkok

  An impressive Market...

Until now... I had never heard of this market... it must be said that the markets in Thailand are so numerous that I hardly pay any attention to it anymore.

It was when I saw a video that the click came and very quickly, I only wanted to take a night aerial photo of this market... for me, the whole point of this visit was limited to this a priori view, impressive and quite special. When you like photography, you can't resist this kind of shot...

So I find myself with taxis, and subway in the nearby Din Daeng district at the end of the afternoon... it's almost 6pm.

A nice idea to photograph a night market...

I had discovered a video on Youtube, a short report made by a young photographer giving ideas for photos in Bangkok. The idea of using the nearby parking lot was really clever and for me, in my head, I was really motivated to find this place.

I finally found the parking and the location... but very quickly I also realized that I wasn't the only one who knew "the thing"... a few minutes later, it was about twenty people (mainly Chinese) who were there for the same reason as me. It seems that this precise place to photograph is in their tourist guides....

  A puzzle of multicoloured tents

It may seem absurd, but the main purpose of my visit here was above all to be able to bring back this aerial view at night, made from the 4th floor of the parking lot of the nearby shopping centre....

The same picture as before... but enlarged... it gives you a more precise idea.
Multi-coloured tents superbly aligned and decorated with multicoloured garlands give this market an extremely positive air.
Really... it makes you want to walk around it, to go through it at length and in broad.

Another slightly elevated position allowing you to get an unusual view of a market... on this public terrace which is nothing more than a terrace to have a drink or snack on some seafood.

On the left of this picture, we can see the building of the nearby shopping centre that made it possible to take the previous picture....

This Bangkok night market is one of the most festive, curious, interesting, interesting and attractive.
The welcome is warm and simple,
In Thailand, we have not forgotten that this country is the land of smiles... the passing tourist will easily realize this. Personally, after all these years of being with these people, I am still attracted by their way of being.
The many tourists come here for dinner, as I did with my little family. It's good, very good, and the price is almost insignificant.
On the edge of the market, small shops in the kind of this one that I discovered by chance....
Loving this style of shop, I can guarantee you that I spent time there and that I did not see this time pass...
In this adorable little shop, you will find a multitude of small posters of all kinds...

Various reproductions made on small steel sheet plates....

Of course, I couldn't help but buy some of them...

Easy to reach by MRT Metro....

When I wanted to go to this market, I was in the Khao San Road area...

A taxi driver then suggested that I drop myself off at the nearest MRT metro station... and use this means of public transport to reach this market at night.

So the taxi dropped me off in Hua Lamphong. A few minutes later, I was in the subway towards Thailand Cultural Center...

From there, if you use the small sketch on the right, you will see that you just have to get out of the station, reach the nearby shopping centre, and find the car parks...

Very very easy...
